Match.com Ukulele Commercial Song She Began to Dance by Matthew P.

This is a classic tale of "boy meets girl" to remind us all what it feels like to meet someone you're attracted to for the first time.

Match.com: Ukulele Commercial
Song: She Began to Dance by Matthew P

match.com has been at the heart of hundreds of thousands of moments like these. We call it the "match moment" - the moment when two people first meet and realise this could be the start of something good... the start of a love story.

The ukulele played in the advert is a aNueNue Khaya Mahogany Soprano model.

Lyrics:
The girl on the platform smile
The boy thought, thats the best smile i've seen for a while
She must have been about 25...26....27......28

These shoes are old
This shirt is torn
This sheepskin jacket ain't so warm
And all the while its the same requested song

As i play guitar on bernard street
With pennies dropping at my feet
I hope this lonliness won't last for long

And its me that needs to be
Yer with you wherever you are from
And its you that needs to see
That a guy like me can take you where you want

And she began to dance yer
And she began to dance yer
And she began to dance yer

And so we
Missed the train to head for town
on a small adventure we had found
And the wheels of the world were going round ...and round

She bought him cakes and he gave her
A broken heart to mend right there
She sewed him up and they walked off to the train

And he said you
Well you gave me
A little hope for me to be
And she said you
Well you showed me
That a little skip can be a leap

And she began to dance yer
And she began to dance yer
And she began to dance yer (All the way to the end)
